Problem-based learning is a student-centered approach to learning by working in groups to solve open-ended problems. Effective teachers engage students in problem-based learning to promote reasoning and problem solving. In this session, teachers will use the PISD problem-solving model as a tool to approach and structure thinking while solving open-ended problems and to provide an entrance into rich tasks for ALL students.
